Next Gen Tempo Monitor Arm with Industry-Leading Weight Capacity Supports Larger, Heavier Monitors

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, March 2016— Knape & Vogt has announced its next generation Tempo™ 7700 Series family of monitor support arms. The new single- and dual-arm Tempo models offer support for an industry-leading range of monitor weights and sizes, in addition to superior stability, greater range of motion, smoother operating function and improved styling.

KV’sTempo single-screen monitor arm provides support for flat-screen displays ranging from 5 lbs. to 20 lbs. (Model 7750) and 10 lbs. to 30 lbs. (Model 7755). Both models offer 14.5 inches of height adjustment and more than 26.7 inches of depth adjustment.

The Tempo 7760 dual-screen arm supports two monitors up to 24 inches wide (diagonal) with a combined weight from 15 lbs. to 40 lbs. It also offers 14.5 inches of height adjustment and 30.8 inches of depth adjustment, setting new standards for range of adjustment in the category.

“The Tempo family is designed to fill a need for monitors with a greater weight or where increased adjustment range is needed,” said Senior Director of Marketing at Knape & Vogt, Scott Sheppard. “We see many opportunities for Tempo in industries where larger, heavier monitors are used.”

Designed to meet ANSI/BIFMA x5.5-2014 Desk Products standards for safety, durability and structural performance, the Tempo family of products is unmatched in durability and longevity, according to Sheppard.

KV also seeks to appeal to end users with the Tempo arm’s sleek, contemporary design. “Tempo is specifically designed with aesthetics in mind, with clean lines and modern look,” he said.

Other design features include advanced cable management that simplifies installation of the multiple cables required to support dual monitor set-ups. A tool-less clamp and grommet mount kit allows for quick, efficient attachment of the arm to virtually any desk surface. A unique, incorporated weight gauge lets installers accurately pre-set counterbalance adjustments required for a particular monitor weight, taking the guesswork out of installation.

“The new Tempo significantly broadens Knape & Vogt’s already extensive offering of monitor supports and rounds out our product portfolio to meet the most demanding needs of our customers,” Sheppard said.
