The Transparency in Coverage (TiC) Rule is a federal requirement that mandates most employer-sponsored group health plans and health insurance issuers publicly disclose certain health care pricing information. The rule is intended to improve transparency by providing consumers with access to pricing data and tools that help estimate out-of-pocket costs before receiving health care services.
